So after the coffee, I headed down to Orchard hotel...
Several Australian Universities sent representatives down to showcase their courses.
thanks to Matt who informed me about this exhibition.. i didn't know bout it!

I was pretty impressed & I had a fruitful afternoon..
Spoke to some of the lecturers & gained more knowledge on the life in Australia!
I might actually consider studying there! But then again... $$ and parents!
If I go there... of course I'll miss my friends too (BOYFRIEND ESP.)...

but the bigger question now is: what do i really want to do after i graduate from NP?
i honestly don't know yet :(

instead, they were raising awareness for HIV/AID!
their group is known as the "Red Survivors"

(now it's time for me to do a small little advertising hehe!)

Red Survivors is a group formed for Youth for Causes 2009. It is a social entrepreneurship competition aimed to raise funds for the chosen beneficiary. The chosen beneficiary is Action for Aids Singapore.

So yeah! They're a bunch of nice people from ITE College East who are reaching out to society!

To help raise funds, Red Survivors will be organizing a

Charity Concert,
entitled,

"Senses to AIDS"

and it will be held

NEXT SATURDAY, 7.30pm @ Scape Youth Park

TICKETS: $15 (comes with a goodie bag!)

At this rate I am going, I think I will just freeze and die here in Starbucks. I'm getting really very very cranky now thanks to the headache. I think it's because I'm still thinking, and yet it's contracting due to the aircon so... it's like active... but it's getting more and more cold...

1. my v3000 is finally back (: really felt weird not having it with me the past 5 days.

2. to be honest, things haven't been going smoothly lately. been very cranky at times, and once i felt that history was going to repeat itself - and i hope it won't. i hope i'm being paranoid. it really sucks to have this fear of mine... then again, thank you to those who've been here for me :-) Charmaine really appreciates it!

3. i'm at starbucks now, but this time, i don't seem to be enjoying myself.

a few groups of students (i know from which instituition but i won't mention) are here 'studying'. they're damn noisy and they keep laughing super loudly. it's like... surround sound because they are literally all around me (one grp in front and another at the far right). i pity the girl diagonally beside me, she's studying real hard, no music, and she so doesn't deserve these noise. this particular starbucks branch used to be very condusive. don't know what has happened to it.

4. i saw a few 'first impressions' on my facebook note. i must say that i am quite surprise that people find me smart. to be honest, i'm no where near smart. my cousins & sister are smarter than me. but then again, it's the first impression.

5. i'm going to watch the last 4 episodes of "You're My Destiny" tonight :-) Like I mentioned in one of my previous post - It's a MUST WATCH. It's really hilarious...

6. laptop batt's running low :-( those students are suppose to be studying but they're on FB and stuff!

i spent my afternoon with my dad today. pretty amazing, cause it's been a long time since i actually spent time with him. so glad that i didn't chiong-ed work, because i've gain more than just money in this afternoon with him!

so we spent time at the HP service centre, Hortpark, Vivo & Queenstown Library.

Hortpark had some Garden festival thing, and there were many plants for sale, and also resort living furnitures and decorations... really nice stuff. serves as good inspiration for our family's new home! The fair is until the 18th (if i rmb correctly) and admission is free! From 10am onwards... enjoy the greenery!

i feel like running a half marathon. lol.

Her name is Charmaine Lim.
She is 4 years old.
She has cancer.
A rare cancer too.

The Singapore community (and im sure others too) have already donated $500,000 to cover for her treatment! But, there is so much more to be done (care, medication) after the treatment. Afterall, this treatment just raises her chances of living to 50%.

Not because she shares the same name, but she really is such an innocent and really pretty girl trying to find her place in this big world. See the pictures of her? She look so promising, full of life, ambitious and all... but if she does not get treatment, well, yeah, you know. (you can find pictures on blogs, websites and even the new paper some time back!)
